BrightSide Packs started with a simple frustration: most gear reviews online are written by people who've never actually packed the bag, worn the tracker, or lived out of a single carry-on for weeks at a time.
We're solo travelers first. Every accessory that ends up on this site — anti-theft bags, luggage trackers, packing cubes, toiletry kits — gets used on real trips before we write a word about it. If something falls apart, chafes, or just isn't worth the money, we say so.
What we actually do
We test travel accessories the way solo travelers use them: through airports, on overnight trains, in hostel lockers, and on the one bag you can't afford to lose. Every review gets scored on the same criteria — security, durability, weight, and everyday usability — so you can compare products at a glance instead of wading through marketing copy.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend. If a product isn't good, we don't publish a glowing review of it just because a brand sent it to us.
Why solo travelers, specifically
Traveling alone changes what actually matters in your gear. There's no one to watch your bag while you use the bathroom, no one to split the weight of packing cubes with, no one to remind you where you put your passport. We built this site around that reality.
New reviews go up regularly — thanks for reading.
